Have a Mary Christmas!

The Christmas story starts with Mary:
MARY DID YOU KNOW.....

Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you
Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God
Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know
The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb
Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding is the great I am
Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know

For me, this is a very powerful song written in current times: released in 2014 and written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene.

Mark Lowry is a very funny stand up Christian comedian but also it is very obvious that he has a very sweet heart for the Lord.

Christmas is a festive holiday wrapped in years of tradition. But, Christmas is also a time of year to reflect on what the real meaning of Christmas is.  It is far more than pretty wrapped presents, mistletoe, and Christmas lights.

It is about the one who came to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed and to proclaim the year of the Lords favor. (Luke 4:18)

As you spend these next few days finishing up your last minute "ToDo" list, be sure to take the time to reflect on the Reason for the Season; Jesus is the Savior; Jesus is the Christ Child; Jesus IS Christmas.

"Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all Creation?"

Mary Christmas!
