I am a 63 year old female. I have walked through a lot of life as a single female, and married woman and now a single 60 something gal. I hear the word Sisterhood...of which I am not sure what that means.. And then there is the word, Feminist. What in the hell does that mean?
I just stumbled across this graphic which is a Feminist graphic. Really ladies?
I must say this confuses me.. Every women should be and do what drives and motivates her... But let me say,
Sorry if I offended you, my Feminist Friends.
Over that past couple of years I have experienced a handful of very nice gals, and you all know who you are. But I must say, I have encountered far to many challenges from women who consider themselves to be Feminist and among the Sisterhood. They have been just a little (or a lot) on the crazy side and I would not consider any of these gals a friend and certainly not a Sister... All I can do is ... run!
Honestly, as a woman of the 70's, I watch the disrespect of women come into play... I actually have had men apologized for opening the door for me.. I like being treated like a lady and always thank any man that holds a door open for me... Really, the Feminist movement has made things worst for women. ARE YOU KIDDING! Are you ladies telling me you prefer to be treated less than a lady? I know I love being treated by a lady...and so should you.
I measure so much by what the Lord/Bible has to say about women. Women of the Bible are to be considered something of a treasure. You should be treated as a Treasure!
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

- I like to be thin...(for me),
- I like cooking...(for me and anyone that might be with me, )
- I love being a girl...feminine,
- I can only hope, to be graceful,,,
- I believe sex is to be shared in the right context,
- I do shave...less now than when I was younger,
- I watch what I eat...I like being healthy,
- I am not fond of pink...but there are those who are pretty in pink,
- I love men and I find more BS among women than among man.

As a Christian woman, I love the Scripture in Proverbs 31....
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;

Being a women who aspires to do and be this scripture is truly a woman
I want to know and be friends with... my Sister.
All I am saying is, lets look at the big picture. The feminist movement has created less respect for woman. Ladies, do you prefer to open your own door, do you not like your fella to bring you flowers, do prefer to not be told you look pretty? I like flowers and I like being told I am pretty as I am sure you do as well. Look at the Big Picture. You are a Lady!
Let us ladies be treated like a lady while we accomplish whatever we decide to accomplish. I am an independent woman, I move through my life with a heart of adventure and a love for life.
I love life... I am sure you do too.
